  1. Are all biospecimens collected under IRB approval? 
    Yes! All diagnostic and clinical biospecimens are collected under IRB approval. The IRB Approval ID# can be found in each biospecimen data set for your convenience.

  2. What if I can’t find the biospecimens I am looking for in inventory?
    Please call or email us at sales@BIOFLUIDS.com. We can let you know when it is expected, or we can bring it in just for you!

  3. What If I need more biospecimens than what is listed in inventory?
    We can immediately ship you what we have in inventory, and bring more biospecimens in from our contracted clinical sites. We will also provide you with projected timelines.

  4. Can BIOFLUIDS.com do prospective collections?
    Yes! We can prospectively collect diagnostic and clinical biospecimens. Please call or send us your requirements via email to sales@BIOFLUIDS.com and we can provide you timelines and quotes.

  5. Can BIOFLUIDS.com do customized collections to meet client specific project needs?
    Yes! We understand the importance of your R&D. We have >30 years’ experience in customized human biospecimen collections to assist our scientists that are diligently working to advance technology, medicine, and scientific understanding. Just call or email us at sales@BIOFLUIDS.com.  

  6. What if I find what I am looking for in inventory, but I need the biospecimen in a different matrix?
    Please reach out to us via phone or email at sales@BIOFLUIDS.com. We will let you know if we can provide the biospecimen in a different format and what the projected timelines for completion will be.

  7. How are biospecimens shipped?
    We ship via FedEx Priority Overnight Delivery within the USA and FedEx International First internationally.

  8. Can I use our own company FedEx account number for shipments?
    Yes, absolutely! You can provide us with your FedEx account number so you can be direct billed for shipping.

  9. How are biospecimens routinely stored?
    Unless otherwise noted, all biospecimens for diagnostic and clinical collections are stored at <-80C. Biospecimens are shipped on dry ice. If you have specific storage or transport needs, lets chat and see if we can assist!
