Edematous, hyperemic, and friable mucosa of the ascending and sigmoid colon with intramucosal hemorrhages and flat fibrin‑covered ulcers. A single endoscope‑passable stricture in the mid‑sigmoid colon. Crohn’s disease. SES‑CD: 7 points.

Crohn’s disease. Focal mucosal lesions with lymphocytic and neutrophilic infiltration and diffuse macrophage infiltration of the lamina propria; a long narrow slit‑like ulcer parallel to the mucosal surface; epithelioid granulomas.
